The Queensland Business Review has opened the 2009 Women in Business Awards Program, so it’s time to get your applications in ladies!
An awards program like this is a great PR opportunity which should not be passed up. The judges are looking for leading ladies in 11 different categories who shine within their occupation. This is the fourth year running of the awards program and the calibre of entrants continues to impress.

For those of you who want to get to hear three publicity experts speak in a panel setting, there’s a fabbo opportunity on Wednesday 24 October in Melbourne town.
I’m on the panel (that’s one of the ways I know about this event!) and there’s also Monica Rosenfeld (who I think is an ex-journo???) and is now the principal of Wordstorm PR based in Sydney as well as Di Rolle who sounds like she’s got a fabulously glamorous job in promoting stars and celebrities.
